Auburn, NY - District Attorney Brittany Grome Antonacci announced that JESSE MARION, 42, of Baldwinsville, New York, was found guilty following a three-day jury trial, of one charge of Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree, Class E Felony, for knowingly stealing merchandise, consisting of two chainsaws, valued in excess of one thousand dollars from Village Ace Hardware in the Village of Weedsport, New York.

After hearing testimony and reviewing evidence, including photographs and video footage, the jury concluded that on September 8, 2022, while at the Village Ace Hardware in the Village of Weedsport, MARION knowingly stole two chainsaws, valued in excess of one thousand dollars.

This case was prosecuted by Chief Assistant District Attorney Christopher Valdina and Assistant District Attorney Alan Berlucchi.

He faces a minimum indeterminate state prison sentence of two to four years.  He is scheduled to be sentenced before the Honorable Jon E. Budelmann on December 10, 2024.
